2018 JGP Yerevan Ladies Free Skate

Okay guys educate me, I only follow junior season for Trusova, but are there other skaters I should keep my eye on who might be a strong contender once they go to Senior?

Whitney Houston has a lot to answer for. So does Marian Carey.

Just makes me wanna listen to Peggy Lee.

Ok, I really do need another cup of coffee.

Grumps off to the coffee maker...

Alena K. is very good. So are some of the Japanese and Korean ladies.

Well, for starters there's all the Russian ladies  But really, the top 3 juniors in team Eteri (Sasha, Alyona Kostornaia, Anna Scherbakova) are all strong contenders, and Anna S landed 4Lz and 4Lz+3T in a Russian competition. There's a whole lot of others, but I'm afraid if I go further my biases will factor in.

Well, there are the other 2 from the 3A, to start with: Alena Kostornaia (more of an artistic type, currently training 3A as far as we know) and Anna Shcherbakova (who just landed 2 4Lz, one in combination at a domestic competition).
Then, there is also Kim Ye-lim, who looks pretty solid so far, despite not having 3A or quad, still a lot of potential. Also You Young.
Then, there is the Russian "B" team (who would kick ass of most top skaters) - Tarakanova, Kanysheva, Tarusina and so on.
Japanese this season are kinda meh, yep, good japanese quality, but not just there yet tech wise.

:roll5: I had a bestie who was obsessed with Whitney and even had a B-Day cake with her face on it. I’ve forwarded a screenshot of this conversation to her in NYC. Beware of a girl about a 1/2 inch short of 5ft running around looking for someone who responds to WeakAnkles. She doesn’t forget!

The dress is quite nice and the detail on the back is pretty.

But.. I know this makes me a bit of a fuddy-duddy but I don't think a child should be skating to Memoirs of a Geisha.

I shall lull her into submission with Peggy Lee! And Billie Holiday! And Ella Fitzgerald!

Forewarned is forearmed!

:yes2:

I've just visited the snack cupboard, and there is no jelly left in this house  Now what am I supposed to do to stay awake?

Oh God.. it's weird POTO music. Worse than real POTO but better than Sarah Brightman singing.

Thank you for all the suggestions! It's scary how Eteri is definitely changing the history of ladies figure skating. I can't say whether this is a good thing or a bad thing though. On a different note, I need this Phantom of the Opera medley track that this girl is skating to right now!
