Great from Liza! She won't win, that honour goes to Kihira (and deservedly), but Liza continues to amaze me with her performances, she continues to improve with every showing, super!

Ted Barton, Angel: "Well, what a season it has been so far for Eliza Tuktamysheva. World Champion in 2015, but hasn't had the same success for a couple seasons. But she's back, and making a statement here. And what a statement it was.

This is a special evening for ladies figure skating, it's not often that you see so many triple axels, and Elizaveta's is high, fast, and so well executed. Had to three turn out of it on the landing, but it looked all the way around.

That's not to undersell Elizaveta's triple lutz triple toe, which is one of the best in the business. She springs so high into the air.

She's a performer too, look at her rile up the crowd in this cantilever. What a skate! That should be enough to send her to the grand prix final."

Liza could've totally killed it if she competed in men's (or post 2006 era) LOL. Men's judges give no crap about transitions, and the moment she landed her jumps (and what jumps they are!!) she would win it.

They could have given Leonova higher pcs. Come on. Hard to believe the girl brings it and ends up dropping a position. She deserved to beat Lim today. Yes her style is different but good for her. Poor Maria - her heart must know it is over. I can hope she can regroup but the regression has continued. Still so impressed by Rika. Still she will need to be consistent. But the judges will give it to her if she does it.

Satoko's new dress looks WAY better then what I saw in the pictures. The green inside the skirt is really lovely. I think I might like it better than her other one.
