Oh Misha Ge so lovely but so sad to see you can't even touch Chen. I have to say my heart loves Nathan but the quads reall are worth too much.

Misha's jumps weren't quite on but I don't care. He's HERE after we thought he was going to retire. He has been a true gift to figure skating and I love his interpretation of this beautiful piece that my faves B/S stated to. :luv17::hap93:

Well, based on Chen’s PCS, I suppose we can assume Hanyu’s going to get absolutely full marks for his routine, assuming he skates clean, right? Oh, wait.... I’m still pissed about that score inflation. Not saying Chen was bad, but that wasn’t a program. It was a series of jumps with some crossovers for momentum. And he deserved the technical points, but not the PCS marks.

Nathan left so much room for other skaters in the short, I wonder if he could medal. The final 2 groups should have a meltdown in epic proportions for him to hve a chance

Agree but again, even just technically speaking this was a redemption skate for him. I don't think anyone is saying it's the greatest skate of the Olympics or anything close to that.

Just hope it doesn't knock off people who do both cleanly.

To be fair though a few people have been getting higher than regular PCS

so far, Despite being in earlier groups

But that skate, while awesome and rightfully rewarded in TES, was empty components wise. The SS has always been a weakness and this time, even the TR moves were sacrificed for the quads. The performance and attack were cautious to focus on quads, so to me the components were at most 7s, not his usual. If PCS is really relative, the others who skated clean and with attack should get even higher.

Wow... i loved Nathan and then Tara goes and says „now we are waiting for the Man in the final group to make some mistakes”... What skater would Hope for others to fall!??? I guess thats the kind of „champion” she is ;/ hoping someone else will do worse than her flutz :/
