But that skate, while awesome and rightfully rewarded in TES, was empty components wise. The SS has always been a weakness and this time, even the TR moves were sacrificed for the quads. The performance and attack were cautious to focus on quads, so to me the components were at most 7s, not his usual. If PCS is really relative, the others who skated clean and with attack should get even higher.

As a Nathan fan I completely agree. However I want to see how the others place before I say anything. Perhaps in terms of relative scores it will be right even if the inflation sucks

Now this is just totally unnecessary, but I wish Nathan replaced one of the 4F's with a 4Lo.:

I don't really give a flying eff about all the negativities here singing how empty the program was. It may be, but still it's a personal victory for Nathan. No one has to be a well rounded perfect skater.

The points to beat score is now at 213 and should be higher then the seasonal best/personal best for subsequent skaters until the last group.

Nice try for the quad, almost. I just love how he let the music flows through him... really feels them, absorbed in the moment, while not letting them dictate the choreography so it feel authentic and original. Noticed this sort of loose jazzy style since he was young teens, very gifted. Hanyu has this as well since little, something just can't be taught.

Beautifully done.... lovely lyrical, so talented, I really look forward to see him develop!!! 4 years.. who knows!
