Yeah some are talking about an S/M (pairs) moment but even if something like that happens there's no way I'll be half as happy for Nathan (sorry, it kind of sounds mean but) as I was when S/M had a come back FS + I think it's fair to say Aljona TRULY TRULY deserved that after 5 olympics and a beautiful WR performance. Anyway, the kid's still at his first performance and after a poor SP and an inflated jump fest, I wouldn't say it's a combonation of programs that deserve to knockout any of the top 4 based on what we saw yesterday.

Ikr Japanese always have this weird thing of cramming a lot of things in between breaks.

I was so worried but as he said the pressure was off so he just skated. I disagree that his program is empty and just crossovers; that Rite of Spring section is quite good and there were other moments.

This is very true, good observation. It's odd that so many people want to stick with what they've already decided.

Nathan has already made this a great event. Nobody had ever done a 5-quad program at the Olympics, and he did a 6-quad.

Now I plan to just enjoy the skating. The last two groups always provide quite an elevated viewing experience. I hope for all, satisfying skates that they can be proud of ... or transcendent ones!

That's exactly what I didn't want to happen. Jin and Uno have their own issues, but still deserve much higher PCS than Nathan, who, as crazy as his comeback is, does not deserved his PCS. I know for a casual fan there is no controversy but this situation is so wrong. Hope the Top 4 will edge him out.

Oh I agree with you. I hope Top 4 all skate clean as a whistle (which is really what we should all be hoping for, Tara).

Can we get on this technology and put Dick Button in a younger body so he can come and snatch his job back? Dick Button has some legendary reads, but unlike Johnny and Tara, is a legend who knew what he was talking about and when he spoke during a program he didn’t just talk to talk - he had constructive criticisms that could actually help a skater. Johnny calling Cha Juniorish without any quick tips on what he could change is just glib in my opinion
