2018 Olympic Figure Skating Mens FS

Who is Keegan portraying? A Victorian English gentleman on a stroll?

Nathan scored less PCS here than he did in GPF. I’m not sure what all the drama is about but it’s kinda entertaining me

People are getting scared for their favorites, or the ones they think should win. That's what it is about IMO. That those skaters don't have room to make a few mistakes and all medal.

I'm trying to enjoy the fact that Nathan finally skated for himself and did well (and made history with his quad jumps) and I am going to try to be optimistic that the skaters on top will deliver good performances for their medals.

I think I will go ahead and just watch the rest of the competition and catch up with the comments later to enjoy it better.

:sarcasm: Great, now Tara and Johnny are going on nonstop about how unbeatable Nathan is. Can they please say something nice about anyone else? Nope, it'll just be endless remarks about how all others lack quads, and just can't compete. :noshake:

But yay, almost Keegan time!!! :cheer: I hope he has a great performance like my other fave, Alexei

Just watch a stream. I stopped listening to their "commentary" after W17 when they offered the expertise of a five year old describing his favourite candy when describing Hanyu's FS.

The quads are some nice stuff but I really wish figure skating could go back to its artistry and telling stories on ice (with good technique and all) instead of just having jump fests stuffed into the second half to the tune of some random music they chose.

Kegan could be a character in a Harry Potter film. Like the hufflepuff that is friendly to everyone that gets mentioned here and there. Then years later you see an article written about the top 5 Harry Potter characters that were super important to the destruction of lord Voldemort and he is no. 3 in the list.

Keegan is surely a nice dude but EVERYTHING in his skating is so old fashionned. From musics selection to costumes through choreo.

But he's entertaining to watch, much prefer what we are currently seeing to the quadfest from Chen.

Keegan's skating is so old school but the 'good' old school, not sure how to explain it... Very good skating skills and choreo and nice jumps.

Lol, Chinese New Year celebrations having guests shufflin' in and out of the house.
Alright, how did Nathan do? Updates ppleeasseee *inserts nail biting GIF*

Keegan is entertaining but the sad part of Nathan skating so well (technically) is that there is a sense there is no hope or pointless when technical marks for quads are worth so much more. Happy for Nathan but not so sure if I am happy for skating. But this is progress. Right?

U took me there

Jeez why is Tara and Johnny SO mean to Keegan? His "posing" is definitely more artistic than a jump fest.

I sorta get this feeling too...:slink:

Nathan's been through enough already.

Everything is relatively meaningless until we get to the final group, alas. So... now we just watch the competition for 6-10.
