Yuzuru Hanyu

Brilliant 3S to start. Very strong 4T! And a strong 3F as well. Wonderfully centered spin (no Bielmann this time likely due to his injury). Commanding step sequence, may not be as difficult but powerful nonetheless. Brilliant 4S+3T in the second half. Step-out on the second 4T, might be <, but it will have a +REP since it has no combo. A little rough but 3A+1Lo+3S. Strong 3Lo. A bit of a slip on the 3F. Iconic hydroblade and ina bauer in the choreo step. Strong stars into the final combo spin.

Several blips here and there in the technical mark, but that was pretty much as well as I could hope for after his injuries. This might be good enough for the gold medal, but he's left the door open a little. He might have enough buffer with those quads compared to his other two competitors just on GOE on the other elements. Of course, this isn't his best performance of Seimei but it just may be good enough.

It was good, not great from Hanyu. Obviously deserves to lead, but rather stale and done perfunctorily.

Yes. I thought that was rather a....hmmm...the word that came to mind as I watched it was deliberate. A deliberate performance.

He has I think left the door open just a crack for Javier. Interesting.

I think Shoma has a very realistic chance to overtake him, but I want Yuzu or Javi to win.

I want Yuzu to get gold but will be happy with any combo of Yuzu, Javi, and Shoma.
