2018 Olympic Figure Skating Mens SP

Gosh, it's so sad what has happened to Ten this year. He's such a quality skater, but he's a shadow of his former self right now.

I know Denis was never the most consistent to start with but its such a shame that repeated injury made the fight to obtain it nearly impossible :(

But he will always be an Olympic Bronze medalist :2thumbs:

After D10 I need to go shove some snacks in my face to hide the pain...brb

The documentary korea aired on denis really made me feel for him though... they had x rays shown, and the doctor talked about how he has like... unevenly shaped hip bones or something? And I believe Carroll also mentioned before he has uneven feet. That has got to be tough, being so prone to injury. I know it would do a number on my confidence. He's like the nishikori of figure skating.

So I'm in the audience and had a perfect veiw of Vincent's quad flip. It wasn't under. I can see the ice tracing where he landed and there's a tiny hook on the landing but definitely not an under. The toe was under no question, but the flip looked fine aside from the bad landing.

Zhou's components were *barely* above what he got at junior worlds in 2017 - only 0.13 higher =/

Well, that is good judging. I like Vincent. Like other posters have said he seems kind, hard-working, sincere but his basic skating skills leave a lot to be desired. Now, we don't always see such good judging because other skater's components rise when they shouldn't but I am happy when the judges do their job.

Denis Ten is so lovely. That performance was a pity.

Not the biggest D10 Fan here but what he doesn't have in TEC he has in PCS. *sigh* So different to Vincent Zhou. Who did really well, don't get me wrong.
