Agree. Every time I see these aerial spin shots I wonder why didnt the camera man ask the others how its done during previous Olympics, Worlds, GPF?
It IS the Olympics, they should get it done properly.

Preeetty sure these are the folks we got at Worlds last year. Better aerial shot spins than step sequences.

Jorik Hendrickx

Very careful into the 3A but good landing. A bit of travel through the first spin but decent second combo spin. Good flow through the 3Lz+3T. Good running edge on the 3Lo. Great stretch and emotion through the step sequence and a centered spin to finish.

I really appreciate this expressive style for Hendrickx. The patterns on the ice and the choreography is very interesting and the interpretation is the best I've seen from him. Strong, clean performance that should help him qualify easily for the free skate.

Wow, seems so low for Misha

And yes, I get the TES of course, but I still don't agree with Zhou being ahead of Misha.

Zhou
Skating Skills 1.00 7.39
Transitions 1.00 6.96
Performance 1.00 7.11
Composition 1.00 7.32
Interpretation of the Music 1.00 7.25

Program Component Factor Score
Skating Skills 1.00 8.18
Transitions 1.00 8.18
Performance 1.00 8.54
Composition 1.00 8.46
Interpretation of the Music 1.00 8.79

I can't really argue with the SS skills or transitions mark because GE does not have the best skating skills or transitions (better than Zhou, obviously) but I guess if you like that program you could argue the other scores should be higher.

Seems fair to me.
