2018 Olympic Figure Skating Mens SP

Wow - Amazing comeback skate by Hanyu!! :D That was really impressive. He should be very proud of himself, especially after such a long time off the ice. My only (small) critiques of him is that I wish that he would stop looking down at the ice and that he would be more expressive with his face (His body is quite expressive though).

Mr Hanyu: Adding A Bit More Cement To The Legend.

I'm not always his biggest fan, but that was really breathtaking.

Yuzuru Hanyu

Gorgeous 4S right into a spread eagle. Wonderfully centerred donut spin. Good illusion into the change foot sit spin. Spectacular entry into the 3A with confidence. Brilliant 4T+3Trippon. Fantastic step sequence with smooth edges and a stellar combo spin!

Wow, that might just be the best Olympic short program... so far! I could feel him softening his energy so that he could let the jump landing flow out. We might well get a world record short program, even compared to his iconic performance with this program at the Grand Prix Final years ago. Everything deserved +2s and +3s all across the board. An iconic program for the ages!

This will be close to his world record. NBC is not showing this live because they know Nathan will well you know and Shifron is the big draw now!!

I don't think it'll be a WR. The TES was 62.47 when it disappeared. He had 64.17 when he set the WR at the Autumn Classic this year.
