Wow, those short program scores in the team event are looking really low right now. A fill in third rate Russian team and Koreans are in the 70 range already. Things not looking good for Duhamel and Radford if the scoring is similar. they had 75 and change in the team event but different judges might make a difference.

Agree. This trained cheer squad is just terrible. Kim Jong-un's robots...Anyway, it is not the fault of this pair. Their performance was great.

I understand why it is weird, but I guess I got used to fanchants from K-pop.

I'm surprised at Peng Jin's score. I think they are a better team than Hocke/Blommaert, though I realize they made a costly mistake. Plus, I would not have Ryom/Kim at 69 -- high 60s, but they are still a little immature.

You can't really compare scoring by different judging panels. Plus, all these teams are really killing it. Duhmal and Radford just have to skate clean.

Well, Russia has their own cheerleaders here too. They might have different ways of cheering but no ones calling them brainwashed. And there's nothing illogical and mental about cheering for your skaters.

Ok, maybe now NBC will start showing some figure skating.

This was always the plan going by my Hulu app: NBC isn't going to show figure skating coverage until 9:10 (central time) at the earliest because that's when NBCSN's coverage is supposed to end. Shaun White and snowboarding is the priority.

I really wish they wouldn't blatantly lie to the audience. They're just setting up less knowledgeable viewers up for disappointment and anger.
