I mean, you can say the same thing about any discipline. Only 24 ladies/men, only 20 ice dance. It sucks for any of the non-qualifiers, especially when the points are THISCLOSE.

No I meant that just for pairs because the level is way too high now. you need 63 to make the cut... 16 is an aberration.

Yu/Zhang are my refrigerator break: tricks but no chemistry or connection. Hate the Tt&J commentary for the most part especially for Y/Z.

I'm questioning some of those PCS scores, unsurprisingly. Good for M-T/M making it, as well as Scimeca/Knierim with their small mistakes. And now Y/Z are way overscored, maybe to compensate for the low score given to teammates P/J. I'm not sure that was exactly fair for P/J, but I guess they had no margin for error. I still think P/J are an overall better team than Hocke/Blommaert.

I'm fine with it for worlds (esp cause there are so many skaters) but this is the Olympics. If you get there, you should be able to skate.

Aye. If you'd told me H/B would make the free over P/J a few hours ago I'd have laughed in your face. I like Hocke/Blommaert and all, but...
