I'm torn. The fair side of me would put Tarasova/Morozov ahead in the TES.

Since I want Sui/Han to lead, I'll just fudge the PCS to make that happen.

Wow - nicely done! Everything that T/M do has such quality, but I find them so boring as a pair. I think that she has more personality than he does, but they both need a lot of work in the performance department.

Tarasova / Morozov (RUS)

Fantastic height in the triple twist. Great unison in the sbs 3T and wonderful ride-out in the throw 3Lo. Strong combo spin, though I'm still not a fan of their last wishy-washy layback upright spin. Great cartwheeling entry into the lift. Great footwork to finish and overall stronger than they performed at the team event.

Definitely worthy of the second position here and should be behind the Chinese pair by about a hair. It was somewhat emotionless but the technical merit, wow, it was stirring. I wish they would stick with this kind of classical music in the free because that Candyman music might just let them down.

The technical level of the pairs tonight is just... incredible isn't a strong enough word. We have truly been blessed by the skating gods tonight. Truly Olympic level skating

Tarasova/Morozov's costumes seem like they'd be better for a Saw themed skate. Or some other horror movie. With all the slashes and deep red.

As a horror fan, I'd be so down with that. I wouldn't hate a The Descent themed program either. It has such a dramatic score.
