I’m glad Bradie had a strong Olympic debut. Regarding her presentation, I do think it still needs some work, but it’s not that terrible. Really, I’m just happy there’s a US lady who can bring some consistency at this point.

Dabin is smiling and she seems relaxed and happy. I can't remember watching her like that.

South Korea's too far down the standings so whatever Dabin does won't be enough to move them into the standings. So my wish is that regardless of that, she can skate a great performance in front of the home audience!

It's her first year in Seniors. She had limited exposure during this year in Big Events. She has a very strong technical foundation. As Mrs P says, the rest will come. To what extent is unknown, but still... Ask Carolina Kostner about that (we won't mention some of HER Olympic experiences, now will we? And I adore Carolina). Ask the Chinese about that. Pretty much every single one of their top skaters and teams were in the same position when they started in Seniors. Cut her a break.

Good on her for delivering her program with such composure .

I find it ironic how nasty people are about the music from Cinderella when the Nutcracker is about a younger character. Skaters should skate to whatever they want to.
