What she does with the music, choreography, and her blades in this short program is simply magnificent. Yes, it's a sport and the jumps should matter a lot for scores - and she might not (rightfully) podium because of it - but this skate is just stunning.

Satoko Miyahara

Humminbird-like 3Lz+3T, hopefully fully rotated on that 3Lz. Wonderful speed in the first spin. A little bit of travel in the combo spin but wonderful speed. High 3Lo and fine 2A. Great edges in the footwork that really fills the rink, and a stunning layback spin. All of her spins look to be upgraded with the speed. She doesn't have the same gravitas as Kostner but she might win this on the technical mark. (3Lz looks fully rotated to me.)

Per Tara L, Satoko's jumps on the smaller end or something like that. She ended up reminding me of hers as well... TINY!

I know, of all people to be criticizing Satoko for her jumps...:disapp:
So happy Satoko skated clean other than the URs. Her PCS should be close to Caro IMO

ETA: How is her PCS 4 points lower than Caro?!!!
