The Russian Fed said Medvedeva will go to Euros together with number 1 and 2 of Russian Nats. I believe Med needs to go to Euros, you don't want her first competition after NHK to be OG. They will send her 100% together with 1 and 2.

The thing is, Med. can have her first event be the OG Team event and she'll be fine for the individual. She doesn't *need* to go to europeans, except to prevent Zagitova from gaining more momentum and reputation

Anyone else I would say yes, but Med has nerves of STEEL, she could handle it. Just let her skate the SP of the Team comp, that’s enough to get her feet wet.

Even with her nerves, they need her to build her PCS back after being out for a couple months. I have seen a video of her in training and she looks to be back, so there's no way she will sit Euros out.
