Holy overscoring hell, what even are those marks for Konstantinova and Sotskova?!?!? I mean even for CSKA bonus, good grief. Poor Kosto, they deflated her on top of that and really, no wonder they pushed Zagi's PCS up like that then.

Has Alena ever hit a level 4 step sequence in the FS yet? I'm starting to think it's purposefully choreographed as level 3 or something is wrong there.

i can guarantee they wont purposefully choreo it as lvl 3. Her ss just is rather weak.

Totally agree...these girls feel the music and use it to bring their programs to life. Alyona gives me Proklova vibes in a very good way

I don't think so. It's more like they are holding down all the other juniors today so that Konstantinova could be at the lead. Stasya is, after all, eligible for Olympics, and is the only lady from St Petersburg that has a shoot for the Euros/Olys spot. Until Kostornaia who had a great lead in SP that no judging can keep her behind Staya.

If Masha had an even worse skate, Stasya might had a chance to Oly given her stance in the Nats.

Konstantinova has no senior reputation or GP experience
if they wanted a senior to overscore they had Tuk, Radionova

It's so seamless... I could watch her skate without jumps and I wouldn't care at all. I'm not waiting for a jump, or a "highlight". Since it went by a flash, I'm guessing many people didn't see it was backloaded - at least didn't felt it.

+1 for please someone tell us what TAT said about Anna! I heard her name during Polina's skate and I was so curious even before people commented on it.

Speaking of Polina, I am heartbroken for her and couldn't stand how Eteri treated her. (You're not going to even sit next to her for the scores? Seriously?) Maybe that approach gets results but I really hate it.

She said something along get well soon, get your nerves under control.
If you choose to return to competitive skating than we will all help you to get back on form. If not you will still be a great show skater.
Your place is on the ice, get well and come back soon.

Her scores are okay if this were an international senior competition. Her jumps aren't the best especially the latter part of her FS and I understand the lack of GOE. However, if you compares to the level of overscoring with Zagitova, Sotskova and Konstantinova, you'll agree that home judging is horrible.

this is the general subconscious mind, we never realise all her jumps are backloaded

That is why I keep saying a full 7 jump backload is my favorite fs layout when done properly. Skaters like Zagitova and Panenkova give it an unnecessarily bad reputation.

When what you want to rewatch is the first half - not the second.

Yes. She had StSq4 with GOE +1.30 for her LP in JGPF.

Internationally speaking, with the scoring, the judges will love her. Especially those for UK, FRA, etc, who are all about skating skills. She ticks all the boxes.
