Such weird music but I think it actually works with Jun's speed and quick turns. Love that triple loop combo. Pet peeve: those hands! For large swaths of the program they look like he's holding a cup. The gloves only make it more obvious.

I think we can all agree on the fact that we will never forget this program Junhwan will medal here, and I am very, very happy for him!

TES 86.49, but 165.91 total, very solid.

Junhwan's program is a great case of expression and commitment overriding an awesomely awful musical edit of Romeo and Juliet. Yes, the program is spastic and almost nonsensical, but he really sells this program as if he had picked out those edits himself. He had a harsh fall on the opening 4T (looks <) but he fared much better afterwards: solid 4S, strong 3Lz+3Lo, fine 3A+2T, better second 3A, good 3F+1Eu+3S, smooth 3Lo (Juliet!). Cha really kept it together and I expect that he will be in first afterwards (first medal on Grand Prix!).
