I'm glad it was Zamboni break time just as they replayed Adam's SP which I totally watched because he is LIKE A WITCH AND YOU CAN'T KILL HIM.

And also his eyebrows are amazing.

will someone reassure me that comparing the men's scores to Bradie's scores is NOT

"Nyah nyah nyah you're so bad that a girl could beat you nyah nyah nyah"

Because unfortunately for those of us (OK, me) who attended kindergarten in a certain time frame (way longtime ago), it brings back those memories. We later grew up to realize it wasn't cool, or funny, or smart.:noshake:

So I'm hoping that it is not the case, and it's being done for some other reason I can't fathom, and I'll admit, there is much I can't fathom.....

I think for me it's more that both the juniors and the ladies have fewer opportunities to get scores (number of jumping passes, etc) so it's unfortunate when groups who should theoretically outscore them simply by virtue of say an extra jumping pass, don't and has less to do w gender of the slayer. Same deal with Jordan Moeller slaying in that his SP score was so much lower in last place that it's surprising how many he beat.

depends - here, the ladies were pretty meh, so its kinda pointless to compare an average competition to an average competition. When ladies were very good, and guys are feeding the ice monster, its a way to compare competitions, at least for me, since when all the guys are skating their best, the slay count stays very low and its not fun. But when they give one bad skate after the other, its just a way to point out ice monster is there =)

I usually do a Medvedeva slay count though, in a sense that "that girl skated clean and you guys keep splatting and popping, shame on you, either do your quads or learn how to skate like jason brown"

Well, heroes and microphones need to pass gas too. I think I'd find what come out of Tara's and Johnny's mouths more intolerable.

I found an NBCSN stream that I would only recommend for the very brave even with an adblocker. In the 2 minutes before it started buffering, Tara and Johnny were already grating on me. I fled back to QQ.:yes:
