Well, I'd definitely have Ross join Nathan on the olympic team. Would feel very wrong to place the others ahead of him after the skates that happened.

Nathan's PCS for this program is ridiculous. at least the tech score is accurate, but 95 for PCS according to fancy tracker

I expected them to throw 99.9 for a clean program so with that axel, I guess its about right.

Isn’t it, though? I am not watching, but I seem to recall him skating to Stravinsky’s the Rites of Spring, (ie the dinosaur sequence).

Oh wow. WOW!! Nathan was in the zone for that performance. I loved it! Masterful. And I do like this costume of his. I enjoy his - I guess you can call it his approach to skating and his demeanor. I like different skaters with different personalities in this sport and I like seeing Nathan do his thing. He's handled the pressure quite well so far. I wish good things for him for the Olympics.

I just want him to get the triple Axel under control for next month.

Jason seems to have struggled all year with having openings left for him i.e. Yuzuru dropping out should have meant that he could challenge the podium but he couldn't, others made mistakes at the GPF, he couldn't take advantage of them and now this. I was nervous when I saw another costume change.

But Ross and Vincent both had their best skates I've ever seen, Ross especially.

I hope the selection cmt will choose Nathan, Ross and Adam. IMO Vincent's UR 4 quads are a disqualifier. I wish the ISU would limit the number of quads in the short to one and two or three in the FS. Too many sloppy landings, falls, and lost energy at the end of programs so that the quality of the skating and spins are degraded.
