Sam Auxier: "We looked at the criteria, average scores through the season and head-to-heads. On the criteria, we looked Adam's seasons. He had one of the strongest seasons of all the men based on average scores. He was selected for Worlds last year but had to pull out due to injury."

Huh, what? He was selected for Worlds?! Did they ever mention that last season?

Well advice to the youngsters (Krasnozhon, Torgashev, Johnson, Hiwatashi, et al). Don't wait till 2021-2022 season to do well. Start your BOW collection from the first season after Olympics.

You do not want to be Mirai-ed or Miner-ed at 2022 Nationals.

Chen, Rippon and Zhou for Olympics. A hard decision but I think the right one. I appreciate that the usfsa president walked through the criteria used in selecting in each member.

On a side note, I'm glad Joshua didn't roll the dice to get to this Nationals. Maybe his team knew that USFA would play the "body of work" card even if he somehow would manage to get on the podium.

News to me too. Perhaps they would have sent him (medical bye) had he been able to return to practice between nationals and Worlds.

for me the usfsa created a hornest nest if they took nathan, ross, vincent-what is the olympics but a chance to chase their dreams.
body of work critieria should go for every discipline use it exactly the same.
the reason they told ashley no- should be the reason they say no to adam, ross, vincent, jason, grant-if can't do it .
they use top 3 medalist

that is why most of the time the other countries make sure their frontrunners have the higher pc's & tes scores both together- the u.s. doesn't which muddles things.

for people 3 of the judges of the ladies was isu certified, does anyone know if any of men's judges was isu certified and not only u.s. nationals.

I expected it, but I'm disappointed. I like upsets. Miner was an actual underdog.

Not even naming him first alt is indeed a slap to the face. I hope people cheer for him the loudest at the exhibition.
