2018 US Championships Sr Men SP

That is the kind of jump I do not mind seeing Tano (or Rippon) with. Big, fast, and strong running edge on landing.

Way to go, Timothy. That was the performance of the night so far - innovative, well-skated. I forgot he even made a mistake

He's not my favorite but he is the only man here so far to deliver a decent technical program. If he's mediocre, what does that say about the rest of the field?

It reflects poorly on the rest of the field. Just how it reflected poorly yesterday that the ladies' SP record was a mere 72.

US Nationals is like picking out produce at a soviet market. I'm not gonna ooh and ahh just because I found a tomato that's only slightly gone bad.

"Anywhere between 70 and 80 depending on how much they love me"

82, I guess they love him!

Alexei in the KnC is the best.

Krasnozhon is too mediocre to be as cocky as he is.

I don't think he's cocky. He had a really great interview on the JGP where Ted asked him if he was watching Jospeh Phan skate right before him to see what he had to do to win and he said that no, he was just watching because he wanted to see Joseph do well. He said he was hoping Joseph would get his quad and that he had a great skate and has improved a lot, so Alexei knew he had to quite improving too to keep up. It was very sweet and he seemed super genuine.

Besides, they went above 80, so he wasn't over-estimating. And he had gotten 80+ internationally this season.

Group 2 for the win!! Tim brings such wonderful qualities to the ice. I'm a sucker for a good camel. That last spin

Remind me so much of Abbott (miss you dude)... that's a high compliment from me. Well done Tim.

LOL. Well, I don't disagree with you there.

I'm referring to his over-the-top posturing and haughtiness.

Heartbreaking interview with max on tv just now...he said he knew after the second mistake that his Olympic chances were over and the tears started rolling down his face...omg my heart. I don't want to believe it's over for him....

I can’t watch that interview, nope.

I hope he just gets it out of his system, and FIGHTS.
