2018 Worlds Mens Free Skate

*drifts aimlessly around the house wrapped in grief*

ahhh shame about the pop and fall but this was great! quad is probably UR but good effort, i love his flow in and out of his jumps, his air position and rotation speed is amazing, it looks so tidy if it makes any sense  very excited for his future and his eyelashes can compete with Javi's

He's been reminding me of Javi lately too. I could definitely see his career having a similar kind of arc with the right support. I really think training with Rukavicin's group last summer made all the difference for him...hope they continue cooperating.

Hello all, cheers from the arena! It was soooo last minute decision, but I don't regret it at all - Michal and Matteo were fire!

And met Alina, who kindly signed my Russian flag:)

I think I saw you, NNF! Did you have the Australian flag with the signatures on it?

I would really like Deniss to finish top ten... #2spotsforlatvia
Assuming no one in the next group that's behind him goes ahead of him it's doable, but... :/

Oh wow, it must be great to be there live!

And that's so cool about Alina (hope she's feeling better after yesterday!)

Well I don't think that's the way most people look at it. I certainly don't dislike Mikhail's skating because I like Dima. 90% of it is because he is so overscored for badly skated programs on a regular basis. And unfortunately Dima is collateral damage because the Russian Fed is so blatant in their politicking.
I have had my heart broken over scoring so that I learned several years ago to just appreciate the beauty of the skater and not be concerned with judges/score/politicking. It is a sport so my thought process may not work for you :).
