Well, the two quads were still a great start. Shame it derailed later but men's is high risk/high reward so he won't be close to the only one with bobbles today.

He's a good skater, he'll be back even stronger next season.

Brendan has such a beautiful qualities in his skating. Just need to be more focus and deal with his nerve. Hope he has a better season next.

Well not quite, he can't land it on one foot, but it's pretty epic.

The music in men's event as a whole is imo better than other disciplines

Phillip is a bit the unknown to me. I've barely seen him skate. I like seeing GBR with a man in the FS. This maybe wasn't the wisest music choice though, since comparisons are inevitable and all. One more argument for avoiding anything even slightly warhorse or signature.

Just a side note, but I think Brendan Kerry has noticeably improved since leaving Gambill

He certainly tried to sell though! It kinda fell apart in second half and his music cut wasn't the best but I expected worse when you have Daisuke in your head.
