2018 Worlds Mens Free Skate

He received a visit from an unwanted woman named Ms Zayak.

That Zayak rule seems overly harsh, like I get not doing the same jump the whole dang program, but a one off mistake shouldn't cause such a huge loss of points. He didn't even fall on it!

Let us never forget Oda either...Ms Zayak used to stalk him!

Jesus they broke his TES - it was only two points higher than Max's.

I like this program for Michal and he skated it well today. Or, at least I think he did, based on what I could see of it.

I mean I gave up on Michal long ago, and now he does that :eeking:

A great end to his carrer! Too bad he never fullfilled his potential.

Oh my God he skated so well! I think it's also due to the audience. The support from the beginning was amazing and it gave him so much power and confidence! I LOVED THAT

I dunno i really like the program and all its weirdness. It was enhanced by his unique hairstyles too.

And Fernandez lost an Olympic Bronze medal because of her as well.

I'm crying, it's been ages since the last time he nailed his free this good! I always felt bad for him for all those 4th places in his prime, this was just awesome to see!

Great to see Michal skate cleanish and with great energy. That middle cut of music just feels like a coffee break though and of course he had to throw in that pop :dev2::hap10:

I really guess I'm the only person here who likes both Mikhail and Dima

Oh no I like them both too! They're both very talented! Which is good to see after the issues in Russian Men's skating these past years. One can only hope the Russian Fed will learn not to be overly harsh to a skater (see: Artur Gachinski) or spoiling them (see: Maxim Kovtun) and find a middle ground.

Haha, of course he had to pop the Sal. Brezina's motto is "always leave them wanting more" -- and I do want more! What a confident skate.
