2018 Worlds Mens Free Skate

To think that Shoma and Kolyada will both medal, after performances like they had...

I hope that after this competition ISU takes a long look at what they want Men's skating to be like.

Yeah but that's more an exception and it seems everyone is dead tired or injured by the end of this season. The Olympics were a very strong competition. With one less jumping pass next year maybe things will look better.

This is one of the crazy thing about results--they are comparative. Years from now people will see the rankings without any context and think it was a great competition

What if Shoma wins...? :slink:

At this point, all that's standing between it are what Vincent just did, which was really not good at all, and Nathan, who can come out and own the ice or give us something similar to poor Boyang.

I give Shoma a 50/50 chance right now, and I hate that it's like that. I mean, kudos to Shoma for what he did injured, but that was not a world champion skate.

Well, Shoma has a silver and Kolyada has a bronze now. Surely not the way they wanted to win them. :palmf:

Shoma gets at least a silver after this skate, what is this competition even srsly

Vincent it's ok, its your first Worlds and you will get better.

Judges are taking a long time......oh no

Please Nathan, please. Last chance for someone to pull out a performance deserving of this worlds title. (Not that these skaters aren't deserving as such, they just haven't been delivering World-medal-type performances.)
