Out of the top men, Shoma had the busiest season of them all. He really needs rest but already is booked for shows next week. :giveup:
When will I ever learn never to trust Nathan's planned layout? He said five quads, but when I saw that second flip I knew he was going for it again. It's the same as the start of the season when he said he wasn't focus on a quad loop, and then landed on a day later. He's the master poker player.

I guess all my karma went to the women's event yesterday, the possibility of that podium happening was about the same as the possibility of this (level of) splatfest happening
Boyang.Considering everything that's happening in China right now this is another heartbreaker. Li Xiangning possibly being forced to do pairs, the ice dance team being broken up, Yan Han retiring instead of going to ice dance, S/H still injured, and pairs losing a spot...
Congratulations to Nathan though, takes some real guts to finish the way he did in this terrible, terrible final group.

Both Misha's did fairly well & we even have 3 spots wow

He got bronze at GPF 2015 and 2016, 4CC 2017. Then starting from last year Worlds he has been getting silver.

I am so proud of him and Nathan too of course. My heart currently is breaking for Shoma (because of his ankle), Boyang, and Vincent though:sad21: But the US keeps 3 spots! It was getting so close there for a second

what even happened? I wanted Nathan to become world champ but not at the expense of Vincent, Boyang, etc.

He got bronze in GPF 2015 and 2016, and bronze at 4cc 2017.
I've gone back and forth on that question for years.
