I'm in California and it's geoblocked for me. Oh well.

Thank you so much for doing this. You saved my Sunday afternoon yesterday when my FS friend came to watch the Worlds. No videos anywhere except the ones posted by you. We missed the Free Dances, but were nonetheless super happy to see the shorts and other disciplines, like the Pairs gold.
If it wasn't for your posts, I would not have known where to find anything.

It is clear that it must take you a loooot of time to put all this up, and I want to let you know that it is very very much appreciated!

The inability of the ISU to have planned on making videos available of some of the great Worlds performances is, in my opinion, a huuuuuge misstep. The Olympics are the one season that they have, to broaden their audience. Signing deals which insure that there is virtually no evidence of the event online, is just baffling, and yet again representative of how "out of step" TPTB in the business of skating, truly are.

Actually, you can see the entire competition, discipline by discipline (no commentary) short and long programs on cbc.ca as long as you're not geoblocked. The broadcast versions are also there (though only those who made the broadcast, so not the whole field).

I couldn't find the CBC broadcast version of the video...just the full, commentary-free version but I don't have time to watch all that. And I wanted to hear the Canadians' commentary about Osmond's win. Been waiting my whole life for a Canadian Women's World Champion. Wanna celebrate a little.

And so....no more YouTube videos of skaters?? :sad21: :sad21: :sad21: But YouTube is how I have been following the sport the past few years! Well, seven years to be precise. I would even share my favourite videos on my social media so it gave the sort some exposure. Oh well. Skating has become bland lately and I've been losing interest myself. Will I still be able to go watch the old greats on YouTube though?

I don't think Youtube is out for all time, just not great for this worlds or Olympics (broadcasters have always tended to be picky about this one). Personally, I think they're just hurting themselves in the long run by making it hard for people to follow the sport.
