I have a random question: how long is a novice long program? I know that juniors skate for 3:30 but what about the novice skaters?
Novice is also 3:30 +/- 10 secs. This was changed in February from 3:00 +/- 10 secs.

So novice long programs before 2018 were only 3 minutes long?Novice is also 3:30 +/- 10 secs. This was changed in February from 3:00 +/- 10 secs.

I just check and ice coverage is correct. Senior ladies are skating on rink 1. Strange. It is a smaller rink than 2 and has less room for spectators. Strange for senior ladies.I think it was taken on Rink 4. That rink has an upstairs and have lots of available practice ice. It does not look like Wilmington which is the closest rink. Another possibility is UD which is a rink I am not familiar with.
I think the Senior ladies are skating on Rink 2 not Rink 1.

The SP is over so I think it’s okay to say Gracie placed third! Hopefully she got a lot of her nerves out today and will do well in the FS!
She skated better than I was expecting, given her score. The judges were awfully hard on her PCS, but I didn't see the others skate so it's difficult to say how she compared. There's a lot of good things to build on, and if she makes it to Sectionals she's got to get a solo jump that's solid (3S) for the SP. She might also get the 75 TES here she needs to have a qualifying score for Nationals, as she's right at 25 and therefore a third of the way there.
I read somewhere that the second place skater already has a bye to Sectionals. Does that mean Gracie only needs to be in the top 5 here?

I think the score was fair, she gave 0 face and looked sluggish out there. But props to her for trying her best, she’s made a ton of improvement since last year!
