Alina Zagitova Short Program: Me Voy by Yasmin Levy

This piece is gorgeous. Very different for Alina; subtle nuances and beautifully passionate. And definitely not a warhorse. Hopefully Daniil puts in choreography that is worthy of the music. Or hopefully Eteri had a huge part in it as I loved what she did for Alina's Don Quixote and Alena's tango. This is exciting for Alina!

I adore Yasmin (my name say it all :))), but I think Alina is too young for this song.
And I hope, that Daniil wont cut the song as he wish. But I guess it's time to say RIP to lyrics :(

Somewhat useless but fun fact: Keiji's name (kanji?) can mean "Detective". He's going full meta. I'm charmed.

Correct (police detective, to be precise). I read somewhere that his parents (actually I think it was his dad) used those characters, because he wanted his son to be honest and brave. The name "keiji" can be many different character combinations, with different meanings.

I wanted to like this post, but cannot bring myself to hit like on something that contains Mako's Una Voce Poco Fa. Just can't.

I'm already afraid if I wager how many times Chicago will be used in RD this coming season that I will be suffering from alcohol poisoning. :dbana::laugh:

We had that coming!

Misha with Scorpions and Charlie Chaplin :roll5:

The cabaret mix is absolutely perfect for Popova/Mozgov! Can't wait :agree:

After Bohemian Rhapsody we get Queen programs, after Rocketman we get Elton John programs. Okay Hollywood, let me send this list of pre-approved musicians to make bio-films about

 I've seen his name written in kanji a couple of times, and this is the first time I've realized that his kanji make the word for police detective. I am embarrassed both as a Korean lit major and a moderate speaker of Japanese :palmf:

I'm excited for this as well

the matrix program should be freaking awesome! :gclap:
If Kaori had a cantilever, I can imagine her recreating the scene with Neo from the first film
Kinda wish someone did a cantilever in a Matrix program (Trusova, where you at?) ;)
