Sorry for coming back to this a whole group after the post I am replying to, but it took longer than I expected to put this post together.
Well, I suppose the Feds did it because they were the best skaters at both Junior and Senior level in their respective countries. But, it was a lot to ask of them.
The most amazing thing is that it didn't seem to take it out of them. They actually did very well in both competitions!

I've not been around here long enough to have heard the story the first time you told it but I think you mentioned it during the ladies SP as well.
But it's crazy indead. From Austria to Sweden after just having competed only to compete again? Why did their federations allow this?
