Well even with inflation for nationals there are likely to be more skaters over 200 at US nationals than at European Championships...

Oh yeah, at least a minute behind the NBC feed. I still have it open to watch during the NBC commercials.

I have to admit that I have never been a fan of Amber. Her personality rubbed me the wrong way and her skating seemed inauthentic but now, count me as a fan. I think a lot of it has to do with her maturing and not trying to be somebody that she isn't and embracing herself as a more mature (almost) adult. Oh the joys of being a teen. I think she just needs better and more rigorous training to get to the next level. She needs to get those double run-throughs going and keep improving the way she has the last few years!

Her short program, in particular, was lovely. I hope this doesn't knock down her confidence because she has the goods.
