2019 World Championships Ladies Free Skate

Izzy used to be an instructor for children's Ninja Warrior at our local gym before she moved a couple of years ago. She's definitely someone worth rooting for! I'm sorry it didn't come together today but I believe this was the first time she made the free skate after previously being the first lady out. Real shame that it wasn't successful.

I hope this rough night turns around soon.

eva is such a talented girl, she's got personality to sell but her jumps are not quite there yet :(

Eva Lotta Kiibus (EST)

Tech:

- Strong 2A+3T to open, good flow
- Fall on the 3F
- Only a 2A+1Eu+1S, loss of speed
- Forward landing on 3F+2T(rip)
- Heavy turn-out on 3Lo
- Difficulty finding center but still managed sped through the combo spin
- A bit rough on the edge changes in the footwork (Lvl 3)
- Turn-out on the 3T
- Popped 2Lz(rip)
- Nice ina bauer moment in the choreo
- Fairly good combo spin
- Better layback spin with haircutter, Biellmann spin not held for very long

Pres:

- Mainly about the jumps. She can work on making the crossovers looks more seamless and look up at the audience, projecting outward more. A bit of a rough time with the jumps, but a bang-on opening combo. She also tends to fully rotate jumps.

FS Score: 94.61, TES 47.44, PCS 48.17, -1 Deduction
Total Score: 149.99 (currently 4th)

Laurine's 3F was beautiful. Best 3F I've ever seen from her maybe. The second 3Lz was nice too. Surprised she didn't tack a 3T on to one of those suckers. Maybe she got flustered. Anyway it was nice to see her go clean(ish). The performance quality, speed, elegance, expression, it's all there. Was such a stark contrast from Feigin who had just skated. Lovely spins and level 4 StSq to boot!

Not an SB, but if things keep going this way with the other skaters... she'll be top 10 for sure. [emoji1787] Yikes pop city.

It's been a while since an estonian lady made it to the FS at Worlds. I'm here for it, go Eva Lotta! :hap10:

Always nice seeing small Feds doing well.

And she is certainly somebody to keep an eye on in the years to come!

Simon and Chris are both saying she is better than the programme she is working with.

She fought bravely, but for the jumps - you can see she put 5 jumping passes to the first half, that is the sigh of mistrust to the skating abilities. But considering it's her first world championship she definitely can develop herself much further.

i hope so, i want to see her next seasons

Poor Ms Grm. She probably has to endure endless jokes about "I'd like to buy a vowel." And "Maybe we should start a Go-Fund-Me page to buy you a vowel."
