2019 World Championships Ladies Free Skate

Serious question: Would a "survivor" program be more or less successful with errors? Interpretation and all.

I noticed Ekaterina does the same thing as Kamila Valieva.. she delays take off after jump to reposition.. it looks a little weird tbh

Evgeni Plushenko's consistency magic has come to save us, maybe

Well bravo to Ryabova for having a clean program, but I have to laugh at her getting a level 4 for a step sequence that had absolutely no relation to the music. I mean none.

But good for her to going for it. And succeeding.

Ekaterina Ryabova (AZE)

Tech:

- Nice 3Lz(rip)+3T combo
- Alright 3Lo(rip) attempt, maybe <
- A bit bent in the combo spin but good stretch
- Fine 3S
- Mainly content-based footwork (Lvl 4)
- Okay 2A+3T+2T, 3T looks <
- Slow into the second 2A
- Good 3Lz(rip)+2T (maybe !)
- Good 3F(rip) as well
- Nice speed and cathfoot position in combo spin
- Okay spirals through the choreo, not a lot of impact
- Steady layback spin to end the program

Pres:

- A pretty good technical performance today. Not much artistry to speak of except for some simple hand posing, but strong rippon attempts and no pops. Good for her! She did the best she was capable of.

FS Score: 122.70, TES 69.92, PCS 53.08
Final Score: 179.88 (currently 1st) :yahoo:
