2019 World Championships Ladies Free Skate

Good, Canada keeps two spots. You did your job, Gabby, now go home, rest, and forget this season.

Well, Alaine Chartland will be 23rd, so Gabby would have to be 5th to keep 2 spots. Their placements have to be equal to or less than 28 to keep two spots.

Yes, Bradie! She's been chasing a FS performance like that all season and I'm glad she got it here. I suspect she will get hit with a couple underrotations, but hopefully it will still be a score she can be proud of.

Bradie!!!!

Girlfriend!!!!!!!

Nice time to have the skate of your life so far.

She's found her choreographer and her style.

Loved it.

When you have three skaters in the competition I think the third skater's placement doesn't count when it comes to getting places for next season; it's only the top two who matter. In this case that's Gabby and Alaine, and Alaine gets 16 points. 16 + 12 (the lowest placement Gabby can get now) is 28, so they keep two places.

Bradie Tennell (USA)

Tech:

- Strong ride-out on the 2A
- Very strong 3Lz+3T
- Nice spread eagle into a 3F, with lots of speed
- Good 2A
- Good centering on the layback spin with a nice Biellmann position
- A lot of bending forward but good use of curves and spirals in footwork (Lvl 4)
- Nice 3Lz+3T in the halfway point
- High 3Lo+2T+2Lo, a little loopy near the end (2Lo might be <)
- Alright 3S, might be <
- Good commitment to the choreo sequence
- Great flying entry into the sit spin, strong speed
- Nice illusions and split position for the final spin, great ending

Pres:

- Well, it looks like she finally had her performance. Very solid skate with clean landings for most of her jumps, if not all. Good speed across the ice and attentive detail with the choreography. She's not the most sensitive of skates, but she puts in a lot of effort and it shows. Great result for her! (Will the US get 3 spots now?!)

FS Score: 143.97, TES 75.69, PCS 68.28
Total Score: 213.47 (currently 1st)

Bradie truly lit a fire under herself in this performance. Whatever to be said and regardless of our tastes, she left everything there today. Like a fighter!

Hello everyone:):):)

Yeah, I finally got it. I had some trouble with functional reading there for a second

What a wonderfully inspired performance performance from Bradie, standing ovation!!! :luv17: :hap10:

Please don’t spread false information. If a skater makes the free skate, she gets 16 placement points, which Alaine will. Gabby will finish in the Top 12. Canada has 2 spots next year.

I was a fan of this dress, this look and this new, strong woman Bradie from the beginning of the season - with that kind of fiery performance she proved her worth and really lit a fire under competition.

Congrats Bradie and all her fans for so good skating!
She changed 3Lz+3Lo to 3Lz+3T, and it was right solution.
But probably 3S<.

Based on her final TES, I don't think any of Bradie's jumps were called under. I'm sure several were reviewed though.
