:eeking: DID YUZURU JUST POP

Well everything else was beautiful as expected, but dear lord Yuzuru your body is human and it shows...

And how is Uno Shoma supposed to have any preparation time after that Poohvalanche

Not prima Hanyu but with the PCS he should be in first for now and who knows what the other skaters will do.

Yuzuru Hanyu (JPN)

Tech: Only a 2S (OH-NO!) maybe that stumble in warm-up shook him, good counter entry into 3A (+4s), good 4T+3T (just a little shaky on 3T landing), nice position through the camel spin, better speed through the sit spin, good highs and lows through the footwork sequence, good callback to Johnny Weir's sit position in the final combo spin

Pres: Shame on the opening pop but he still kept it together for the rest of the program, the mistake did rattle the program a little with some spins being maybe a one notch lower in GOE than we normally see. He still has great command of the ice and demands your attention. Now it will depend on the other skaters in this group to see how costly that mistake will be.

Score: 94.87, TES 48.16, PCS 46.71 (just squeezed into 1st place)

I missed the start (Thank you, crummy SBS stream!) of Hanyu's program, but what I saw was fabulous. I love the step sequence!!

Yuzu, sweetie, I woke up at 4 a.m. and resigned myself to the fact that my darling Mikhail might do something like that, but not you. It is too much middle of the night on a weekday for me to be able to handle this sort of stress. :roll9:

3A analysis:

Distance: 3.62 meters, Yuzuru Hanyu
Height: 0.7 meter, Yuzuru Hanyu
Landing(Speed?): 21.0 km/h,

Haha remember when Mishin said Liza pulled out of competition because of that?! I can't believe he lived after that. I mean duuude.

Yuzu pops, but fights back like a booossss!

I don;t get why guys acts like talkin about period is something outragoues. It's perfectly natural for healthy women. ANd no one would bat an eye, if someone had said about having head ache, how is that different? Why excatly woman can't complain about feeling bad because of the period? ANd yes, female skaters have it to, and it may affect their skating.... The whole taboo about having period is annoying.
