2019 World Championships Mens Short Program

:scratch3: Nope, still not feeling this program. It's just kind of o.o to me why I keep feeling lukewarm about most of his competitive programs when I love love some of his other programs (Requiem of Heaven and Earth, Notte Stellata, Hope and Legacy).

Yuzuru is going to be in kuyashii mode, I know, but dear heavens Yuzuru you may have the mind and talents of a god but you have a human body, a frail one at that

Hell now I can stop worrying about those ankles for a while at least

I think that despite popped Sal, the performance quality put down, the transcendent feel about uniting Yuzuru and this musical piece are on another level. Magnificent one to add. There's just right balance between every factor that makes a successful performance there, but the presence elevates it into something superb, into an experience, a moment captured to remember and linger in mind I feel. His 'snap' into the movement in step seq gives chills every single time, the focus on transpositioning musical feel into real, raw & passionate impression for the audience is unparalleled. Still a champion of performance, an absolute royalty in his own craft, putting limitation by himself.

In awwwe of Yuzu 3A. That was top drawer stuff!!!

(I wanna know everyone's stats now...like Viktor Petrenko the height on his 3A was nuts)

Woah still first place for Yuzu even after the pop...

Bring on Shoma!!!!

Well the only way to be first after popping in the short is to be Hanyu Yuzuru apparently

I don;t get why guys acts like talkin about period is something outragoues. It's perfectly natural for healthy women. ANd no one would bat an eye, if someone had said about having head ache, how is that different? Why excatly woman can't complain about feeling bad because of the period? ANd yes, female skaters have it to, and it may affect their skating.... The whole taboo about having period is annoying.

cultural bias, cathlen, cultural bias. that's why i usually talk about it normally, because it's normal, like having a flu

I like Hanyu, a lot, but it feels all kinds of wrong when you completely miss (as in zero) an element and end up way up on top.

I get you. When I remember Rizzo and Aymoz I think I still prefer them.

I don't think some men realize that the majority of women they come into contact with are experiencing pms and their actual periods any where from 1-2 weeks out of every month. It's a constant thing. It's so normal, but not spoken about as commonly as other bodily functions..

Anyway, onto Shoma!

Also it's official, Sui/Han used up too much of the ice's capacity for awesomeness today.

A clean quad and he would have perhaps broke the world record again.

That’s kinda crazy when you think that he was missing an entire element. Just shows the quality of everything else he does and makes you wonder.

The flow and hand gesture out of that 3A was first rate. And for Shoma, that costume is practically monk-like in its simplicity.
