MTM2 has proved me wrong in many ways and gone much further than I thought they would. They're really fast these days and I think the program is good for them but you could tell a quality difference after the watching the Chinese pair. It was most apparent on the twist and throw. I think they need to bring those elements up to take the next step.

Nitpicking though. Nice work

If they could make the twist a bit better, I'd be really happy with them as a team.

Too close in TES in my opinion... neither SBS jumps nor spins were that great. And low catch on twist as well (though that often happen for them).

ETA: TES went down a little, ok.

I don't think their music choices this year would do anyone any favors, especially the short. It sounds like generic background music you might play during everyone's review.

Moore-Towers / Marinaro (CAN)

Tech: Not a lot of height but good ice coverage on 3Twist (a little crash), forward landing (hand-down) for Marinaro on sbs 3Ts, strong pivot on death spiral (Level 4), great exit and ice coverage on the lift, solid landing on the throw 3Lo, good speed through the sbs spins but very out of sync on the sit spins, solid step sequence with good edges and speed

Pres: Not as clean as they wanted through the elements but no major errors, their power and choreography does carry them through the music but it doesn't lend itself to a lot of emphasis since the phrasing is so elongated. I think they can be challenged to a more difficult piece next year.

Score: TES 38.87, PCS 34.21, Total 73.08 (currently 3rd)
