incredible performances from all the ladies! Such a privilege to witness all this depth of talent, determination and fight. Good job to all, so happy to see top 3 delivering such amazing skates.
Congratulations to the medalists!
Couldn’t imagine all will skate clean, quite incredible, especially from Anna recovering from her illness.

Come on, I know you mean well, but don't do Daria like this, she hasn't even stepped off the ice yet

2 very personal note on Anna's FS
They manage to creare a very pleasing recovery time after the 2 quads.
I did not particularily liked last year FS (personal taste nothing to do with skating), while I really love this one.

Anna has a spirit like no other. Frankly, it was dangerous for her to skate here but man she is determined and brave.

I agree with this. She‘s shown today she has a fighting spirit like no other but it was still dangerous for her to be here. But I knew that if she was going to skate, she‘d skate cleanly. Three time National Champ, what a legend! Now I‘m just hoping she can recover fully.

As for the rest: Kamila was great, too but I was still too hyped from Sasha to fully pay attention. Will probably rewatch later.

And even though it‘s only Bronze again, Sasha proved everybody wrong with a clean skate and landed TWO RIPPON QUAD LUTZES. And her 3Lz+3Lo. Just so proud of her.

Two other skaters who held my attention to the last second: Talalaikina and Nugumanova. Not as much technical power but so much joy in their skating. Loved every bit of their programs and I hope they‘re really proud of their results.

Didn‘t Nugu say at the beginning of the season that her dreams were to get into the National team and compete at a GP? Well, looks like 2020 had something good to offer after all because she may have done both this year. Rostelecom AND top 6 at Nationals. I hope she gets a spot on the team and some funding, she deserves it so, so much.

And a little end note: I have a sneaky feeling we might have seen our Olympic team on the podium today. ;)

CALLING FOR ANYONE, ANYONE WHO HAD LIZA N. AHEAD OF LIZA T. ON THE 2020 BINGO CARD?

(Does this qualify her for the national team? It's top 6, right? I'm losing my mind over here, Liza N. got me into following figure skating)
It’s actually quite unexpected to see Rukavitsin students score and place higher than Mishin students. Talalaikina scoring 200! I also never thought Liza N. would ever make a comeback like this.

Congrats to the medalists, they all did great here and i didn't expect such strong performances from all 3.

Interesting fact: Nugumanova ranked 3rd here among the seniors, if they don't cancel Senior Worlds she could go.
They've already said that Nationals won't decide Worlds. I think they'll make Cup of Russia Finals a skate off between Liza T, Liza N, and Alena. (I actually expect it to be between Alena and Liza T as both of them were/are still recovering and they know that.) (Sofia and Anastasia G will probably be there too but I don't see either of them on the team too.)

I just hope that this Bronze doesn‘t discourage Sasha again and she‘ll try to clutter her programs with quads even when injured/not fully ready. She did amazingly here and should be really proud. She has the ability to land those ambitious layouts but only when fully ready. So, I hope she takes her time.

Have to say this here too.

You know how athletes say that they feel empty inside because they have nothing more to give after a wonderful skate? That's how I feel. I feel emotionally drained by having watched this wonderful competition.

Sasha and Kami have so much height on their quads as if they could go for a quint as well! Most beautiful quads!:clap:

Anna, all I have to say: :bow::bow:

She made me cry as well. She's not my fav (although she is one of my favs) but I will always love that little firecracker. She skated the best I've ever seen her today.
