Where did you hear that Anna only has one lung? I haven’t seen or heard this. This would almost be a miracle to skate with one functioning lung.
I've read in the chat people saying that she was injured, didn't look injured to me.

Sasha about her injury: she was already injured prior to GP, coaches asked her to go with an easier content, but Sasha didn’t allow it. Right now she had no other choice, since she is capable of jumping only her Lutz.

So after all, I feel like Plushenko likely did what he could to stop Sasha from doing 4 quads then. Looks like Sasha was very stern about this decision.

afaik, no one is asking Anna to retire either.

This makes me sad but it's what I thought. I do think Plushy could have done more. After all, she did aggravate her injury and now she can't do any of her other quads or her 3A. Today however, Sasha was wonderful. I DO think even healthy a "watered down" program is better for her. But it's sad and upsetting to confirm that she was forced to do it due to injury and not coaching decisions.

Well said. But let's not get into any fights today let's enjoy what Sasha kamila and Anna did back to back to back with coronavirus running wild in the world a messed up shortened season not having normal offseason routines the performances of these three and the other ladies were incredible! The quality was just incredible not just from the top tray from probably the top 10.
Congratulations to all of the Russian ladies, is been a horribly difficult year and for so many of them to perform so well today was a real treat to see.
Anna pulled through and will go down in history (not that she wouldn't have already but 3-time national champion is something that she won't share with the other quadsters).
Sasha won my heart today. Her performance was committed and she was clean. I loved it.
Liza N is so lovely to watch, I'm so glad she skated well today and what a great score too.

Wow, this kind of thing is now being celebrated? Some people live in the reality where diseases and long term health issues are being taken seriously, others... live in a fantasy world where it's all about princesses on ice, evil figures ( "haters") and heroes...

All I can say is wow. Just wow. Russian Nationals is truly the event of the season and it NEVER disappoints.
The level of skating in that last group was through the roof. I was SO hyped for Sasha, and then Kamila went out and brought the house down, and by the time we got to Anna I was just watching in awe. Not to mention a beautiful skate from Daria to close things out!
I audibly gasped when Sasha landed that 4Lz-3T, and then the second one too! I also liked that she was able to add more choreography since there were less quads. Kamila was fantastic and I have to admit that her program has grown on me a lot. Anna was just incredible and I cannot believe she skated that well after how sick she was. Very happy for Daria too, she went out after all that craziness and did everything she came to do.
Obviously the top 4 were amazing, but I have to give a special shout-out to Liza Nugumanova who actually brought me to tears today. She skated so beautifully and so free and I never wanted that program to end. Sure it wasn't perfect, but she skated a fabulous short program and placed 6th overall at this bloodbath of a competition. She has SO much to be proud of and I cannot wait to see where she goes from here

What a competition!!! I'm just shouting here, must calm down.
On a realistic note: I'm still worried about Anna's health and hope this won't affect her soon, but this is bravery. Not what Hollywood creates, those are artificial backlogs. There are Anna, Kamila, Sasha, Daria, Maiia, Lizas and all the other girls that I'll watch soon. There wasn't better figure skating competition ever.

Anna's performance is what i call to defend a title.
She won with one lung like Hanyu won olys with one leg.

For me it was the best FS ever. I would like to repeat my posts about my two favourite girls here:
Anya has been my favourite since she appeared in juniors. Her innate musicality multiplied by her strong technical elements, intelligence, education, tact and sweetness are simply irresistible. Whatever the edge analysts among fans were saying and will be saying, she is phenomenal. I wish her to keep all or at least a large part of her abilities as she is growing.
It was a personal victory for Sasha. A clean programme with two difficult quads and a difficult combo after all the falls in the important events, a disaster at Rostelecom and an injury preventing her from doing more quads, after a stingy treatment in the short - she delivered, she displayed her spirit. She can now bring this back to her mind when she has another challenge.

Yes and all the people concerned for Anna also hate Sasha and Liza too because they were being urged to withdraw as well.
I will not apologize for being concerned about a minor's health.Dear lord, some people don't care about anything as long as "they win".
This is Anna's moment and no amount of fan gloating will take away from her classiness.
