You make pertinent points about the situation. But it's absolutely sickening at the Russian Federation with the best group of ladies skaters in the world seniors and juniors and the best group of pair skaters in the world seniors and juniors screw this whole situation up by being too arrogant or stupid or whatever it was. How come the American figure skating Federation does not have the same problem or the Japanese figure skating Federation or the Korean figure skating Federation? I mean we're like 14 months away from the next Winter Olympics and many of the Russian ladies and Russian pairs teams are not well because of Covid and because of being lackadaisical from the Federation.if I get what you're talking about, the best solution would be to have acess to more rinks to distribute the load and reduce contacts, but there are 2 major problems:
1- the rink is only a part of those big academies, and they have a lot of "secondary" training places in their facilities
2- the staff would probably remain in contact with all the skaters so forming a bridge and limiting the effectiveness of the skate's' separation (breaking their own bubble)
yes. i wonder if Sasha has it too.Is it true that aliona has covid?and to think I was just thinking yesterday how the skaters at PA have escaped covid-19 for the most part other than Veronika.
i really hope she decides against going with Kamila this weekend. no use in taking the risk of spreading it, even if its not covid.
Every picture posted of her at Rostelcom she looked unwell. Sasha seems to be the most reckless of all-lots of pics of her with young fans, none of them wearing a mask. Not to mention at the banquet. Almost everything posted on Instagram has made me cringe.yes. i wonder if Sasha has it too.
Well, the only good thing coming out of this mess, is that Nastya now has pretty good chances to make it to Nats. Go, girl, get that medal!
Ummmmm I think this is blaming for the sake of blaming. You're pointing fingers at the wrong entity. The real entity to blame is RusFed for improperly organizing the events. You really can't say that Team Tutberidze is the root of the cause especially since basically every team has had a case.In my opinion Tutberidze team are responsible of this Covid outbreak in Rostelecom cup. They did not tell the truth about Scherbakova diagnose..www.facebook.com
Otherwise Morris, Alina, Kamila, Dudakov and Daniil couldnt also participate. And now we see result of this lie....
The Russian sports ministry has taken notice of the issue as well. Hopefully they have some common sense and will instruct RusFed to do better and to figure out a safe and fair solution to the Nats issue.at this point i hope they postpone nats. it would be incredibly senseless and unfair to hold it when so many of their skaters have been sick and not able to train or compete.
i just saw that post as well and wondered if it was recent. how would he randomly come up with a story about her being sick and coaching virtually? strange.Turns out, Layshev lied about Eteri being sick - she just posted an instastory where all three of them (ESD) are at the rink
Seems Layshev has gone completely bonkers![]()
it IS recent - Eteri thanks him for his "concern" and tells him that they do not have any symptoms of any cold/illness and are working at the rinki just saw that post as well and wondered if it was recent. how would he randomly come up with a story about her being sick and coaching virtually? strange.
