I got an email today about the Canadian Stars on Ice Tour. The skater lineup has changed: Moore-Towers/Marinaro are replacing Duhamel/Moskovitch.

Due to the SOI being postponed (again), and Meagan being pregnant again as well, this is not surprising. Meagan and Dylann have trained and skated together at another event, but I presume SOI will really be too late to take the risk. Her baby is due in July. See also Ziotics post from the 15th of January.
Thanks for refreshing my memory. I only vaguely remembered that Meghan is pregnant.

I meant to write here a couple of weeks ago when I read Meagan's twitter that she's pregnant: Congratulations! What happy news.
I also recall that she said it happened a bit earlier than planned. I agree it's why she and Dylan have withdrawn from SOI, and I'm sure it was a very wise decision ... but I feel a little sad, because I think it was great for her. And I'm also a little sad for Dylan, since he was so happy about the SOI experience too.
When I read the announcement, my first thought was, Oh! now I understand why Meagan was reportedly crying while commentating on pairs at Cdn nationals. Hormones. No wonder. (it seemed very out of character, tho' I could be mistaken about that).

LOL at first, i read Meagan was vaguely pregnant and i was like.. what does vaguely pregnant mean? this is what happens after a 12 hour work day...

As I've already mentioned, I'm not on Instagram, but I've been provided with the link that shows Iliya Kovler at the hospital after having surgery (the post is dated Dec. 9, 2021). I guess this is why we haven't seen him compete for most of the season.

I concur, they definitely intending to split the pairs. I don't think they'd be sending J/R unless that was the intention.
I imagine Gilles/Poirier will definitely use both skates to build their programs up with the judges (and crowds?!) going into their ice dance proper, like V/M and the Shibs did last go around.
The men I think they'll play by ear. If everyone skates well and we get a bit lucky in the short and in the running for a medal, I think they might stick with Keegan for both... if we're just fighting for 4th, they'll split it
Of course if we have a couple struggles in the short, we may not even have long programs to bother with. But that would never happen!

Just in case some have not read the article : we do not know if the 5 people are coaches, officials or athletes, and we do not have information if the test results were confirmed. Also, some of the figure skaters have not yet landed so let's wait an see... I just thought it was best not to leave worrisome information because it may not be at all related to figure skating.
