Does anyone else think that this might be something that was originally intended for worlds in 2020 being repurposed for the Olympics? Otherwise why not have mention of Valieva in the press release or the other up and comers training with Eteri?

Maybe. But remember in 2020 they had all of those awards that they gave out. And it’s definitely updated because they are doing an interview with Yuma, who was pretty unknown/under the radar in 2020, so it’s not all copy and paste.

Looking forward to it, but it's almost certain to be old footage. After all, I believe the latest team tutberidze video was weeks old and Anna probably injured her toe very early in camp.
 
Test skates are 2nd week, 9/11 and 9/12.
Also just realized this, how can Anna give a live performance already? I thought she just got back on the ice.

Well based on what's been said it was a toe injury and she was only off the ice for a little bit based on everyone's estimation (we've not heard anything concrete that it happened on x date), while the injury was on her picking foot - she could probably easily do some doubles vs. triples, she pretty much never does quads in her exhibitions, or she could even do an exhibition without jumps, that would be a nice way to challenge her artistically in a no-pressure situation.
 
I post that question here as we write about worldwide legends superstars : is there any other official existing merch available worldwide, Russian skating related ? Knowing

- There is the Evgenia Medvedeva Official online Store.
- There are apparently some intra-insta-whats'-app-transactions possible with Team Fan club(s).
- The successful book on The Girl Who Defies Gravity: And Changes the World of Woman's Figure Skating has been translated and has crossed the borders.
- Some t-shirts & stickers "in effigy of" are presented on websites where everyone can sell "designs", not really sure if everything is "image rights respected".

I was dreaming like typing "insert your favorite skater name here" in Cyrillic letters in the search bar of "insert your big online Russian shop here" would propose me tons of official jerseys, posters, glasses, key rings, plushies, lighters, pins !

Liza Tuktamysheva has her official clothing store called “Empress Wear”

And Team Tutberidze is selling their official merch via Whats App, which is supposedly going to turn into a website soon.

AFAIK, Empress Wear ships internationally and the Tutberidze merch is only shipping to Russia and ”neighboring countries“. (not exactly sure which countries, and when they launch the website, there will apparently be more shipping options)

Oh, and Aliona Kostornaia has her own clothing line with Karisma, which is a sports clothing company based in Italy, and IIRC, they ship internationally.

Yes, Liza’s Empress Wear ships internationally. I got some clothes from her and I am in Bulgaria. Although the package did take some time to arrive. My sister ordered them as a Xmas gift for me and they arrived just before Worlds. Which was great, because I got to watch Liza dressed in Empress Wear pants to bring her luck :)

I think it took so long because it was held at customs and there was some mess with the shipping company. Liza’s company sent them promptly.

Where is Alena or Veronica Zhilina? Veronika placed very well in juniors, and they both have 3A, and Veronika has 2 quads

Where are they in relation to what?

Veronika Zhilina while she does have an impressive technical arsenal unfortunately struggles in competition she placed 12th at Nationals and 8th at the Cup final last season.
 
The Russian ladies look in really good form! Valieva's 4T just as good as before. Aliona's 3F-3T at last is 2019-20 level.

And Sasha.....she is looking fierce. The 4Lz with rippon is looking even more stable, and the best 4Lz-eu-3S I've seen her do. Also the 4T with rippon too, wow. I think it's going to become even more stable. Could reach Kamila's now she's got 2 more months to just solidify everything. She could be a real firecracker next season.
