That’s why she is so watchable imo. This drama is not offered by any other skater, particularly rn that paradigm had shifted in favour of safer clean skates

Yes she’s a fearless warrior and it’s her dream to be an olympic champion. Alena won the European, Anna the worlds it’s up to Sasha now to win a major international title.

Yes, because she's been injured recently, she will be OK. If there's one thing everyone should have learned in the past few years about Anna, it's that it's not reasonable to underestimate her..

Considering her layout is planned to insert a few quads in the beginning, she is presumably close enough in training that they think she'll have them in time to compete with.
Confused why Aliona is going there since I believe Finlandia Trophy is the week before. That seems like a lot so short before the GP

i think after the season she had last year, she knows she needs the competition exposure and to show up and prove herself. Espoo and Budapest are only an hour time difference, so it shouldn't be much of an issue for her.

Hmm...that is the same time as the Challenger Asian Open Trophy in Beijing. I had hoped that someone would go there to feel the Olympic vibe...
But maybe that competition will never happen as it seems China cancels everything...
But Budapest is not a Challenger, so just like US Classic where Trusova competed, it won't count for the Seasons Best list.
Also 4 women? is that allowed? Or is it Sofia Akatieva skating in juniors?
It's Sofia Samodurova. Not sure about the 4 entries though. Maybe the rules for that are a little different since it's not a Challenger/ISU event?

That's a new one. Tuktamysheva and Kolyada both are directly qualified for Nationals so they don't need to go to the Russian Cup.
Wouldn't it be better to concentrate on international events?

I'm not sure about Kolyada, but I know Liza prefers competing frequently. When she won Worlds, she competed nine times internationally before the big event.
