I know right. It was my first skating dream and I told myself I had to take a break from figure skating content, but of course the next thing I did was go on Golden Skate :palmf:
Once I had a dream that Evgenia announced she was pregnant  and all the fans were like "How will this effect her chances of getting on the Olympic team?" It was such a weird dream to have about someone I don't like actually know and it honestly kind of scared me. I woke up and thought "I need a break!"

Good Lord :laugh2:

Thank you Amei 🙏

So Maiia is swapping out the Salchow for a second Toe for now. Probably a smart move...

Someone on youtube has more footage from the practice, including 2 landed 4Ts from Maiia and a bunch of strong 3-3s from Anna.

Has Anna landed any quads?

The video that I posted earlier is the only video that I've seen and she didn't land it in that attempt. Daniil has said the flip is restored so that tells me she's got to be landing in practice. Shcherbakova has a nerve-wracking habit (at least for viewers) of not exactly having the most promising looking practices/warm-ups and then doing well in the actual competition.

That’s because Anna uses practice to fine tune her jumps.
Which is the reason you have practice.

You get further being a big game player rather than a practice player.

And people continue to get burned. Getting all excited about practice, leaving Anna for dead, and then watching her become Lazarus right before their very eyes in the skates that count. It’s clockwork at this point.

What does this even mean? No one is happy about bad practices and plenty of people want Anna to do well. We're just starved for information after the pre-olympic offseason.
