Come on, it's not a high score but it wasn't so bad?!
I would just say that Kolyada is very Russian ballet, while Brown is more Broadway.I think this is the reason why Nureyev works so good with Kolyada. It sort of hides the fact that he is solely amazing with his balletic posture, lines and movements. It is a bit hard to take him out of that style. I personally think he moves in a very similar way on his Nutcracker program. Whereas Jason is so chameleonic. You see a different type of contemporary dance on his Sinnerman program and then this masterpiece (that still needs to be polished along the season). His programs have the potential to be big olympic moments.
I probably just expected alot from him... and the steps and choreo looked so random and missing after Jason and MikhailCome on, it's not a high score but it wasn't so bad?!
It’s the same costume as last time he skated Schindler’s List.Jason.. last year's costume was better. I definitely get why you'd want to change costumes if you're recycling but uhhhh.. I'll just leave it there.
Damn damn damn I hate when he falls on that 3A right in front of the judges.
Interesting music changes, not sure I approve. The contrast between the "darker" section and the more lyrical section was starkly beautiful in last year's version.
It's still a beautiful program and I adore him. I think it was a good idea to keep the program but maybe workshop it a little more?
At least they have an excuse—they are still juniorsJason is amazing, I love Keegan, and Misha and Zhenya had redemption skates. Now I'm off to watch the JGP and the messy men there
Life was like a russian skating men. You never know what you're gonna get.Who had the Russian men being the only ones NOT to fall in the top 5?
