In my opinion, the Nureyev is better suited to Mikael's style and personality. But he needs to land the jumps too.Such a beautiful skater! Love Misha! I just wish they'd go back to Nureyev.
It's not, it's new. It’s the same costume as last time he skated Schindler’s List.
No it isn’t, this has more design and is less gray. The SP costume is new too. It’s the same costume as last time he skated Schindler’s List.
I actually think comparing Brown to "Broadway" is very one-dimensional. I can see ballet, contemporary, eclectic, and a sprinkle of jazzy moves.I would just say that Kolyada is very Russian ballet, while Brown is more Broadway.
Oh sorry. I just saw the arms and was like “Jason didn’t we have this discussion 2 years ago?”It's not, it's new.
The old one was solidly grey.
He deserved more.So Matteo Rizzo wins the free, and moves up to 5th.
Yeah, I think Kolyada should bring back the Nureyev too. That is definitely his style.Kolyada is good, but I'm also in the "return to Nureyev program" camp. That could be a signature piece for him.
Brown is more combo of Broadway and Alvin Ailey.
I didn’t see much of the skate (stream kept freezing) but knowing Keegan, I’m sure he gave his best, and so there is nothing to be sick about. We all have less-than-great days.Literally I want to be sick and my day is ruined. And now off to take my blind BIL to buy food.
Oh no, Moon Take a break after that and buy yourself your favorite treat/drink!Literally I want to be sick and my day is ruined. And now off to take my blind BIL to buy food.
Yeah, that is incredibly remarkable. It talks about the amount of attention to detail on his programs and his unique artistic approach to skating. Mad respect to him and his craft.Brown is really the ambassador of this scoring system.
Getting 262 with 0 quads, only one clean 3A across both programs, 7 triples free program....
The guy can score 280 if clean in both programs with three 3As. That's a score that most other skaters reach with at least 4 quads and three 3As.
He will be right there behind for that olympic medal if favorites make costly mistakes.
Totally agree. Some people complain that it is all about the jumps these days, but JB proves that is not true.Brown is really the ambassador of this scoring system.
