Watching Ice Dance without the BOX is certainly an experience!

The lack of closeup camerawork also increases the difficulty factor. We are getting a real workout this fine morning!

I must be screaming real loud then, as Ally Pally is about 15mins away from my house (on the bus).

That's cool. The two partnerships were really close in the SD at the last event they both competed at, and the Aussie partnership ended up with the upper hand over the Latvian partnership after the FD.

So, looking forward to the re-match.

The crackling noise is gone...I thought that was castagnettes for an early Olé!

I'm sure there will be an Olé programme or two today!

It was all through the Latvian couple's skate, but they've sorted it now thankfully.

I really do love their Funky 70s Rhythm Dance, they've captured the choreo of that era better than many couples, with a good score too 50.85.

What about that palatial K&C area? Sofas, cushions, lamps, tables, cards, it looks very comfy!

The Latvians now just need the FD qualification scores for Euros and Worlds.

Don't worry, that was just the warm up act before Britney.

I actually liked the jazz cover. I'd take it over the remix of Britney's version that followed.

Now, if it had been the original Britney version, then that would be a totally different matter...

The only problem with hearing "Toxic" is that it reminds me that I missed out on getting one of Liza's Toxic T-shirts last year, because of the postage being extortionate.
