I don't think it would look bad at all. They keep going on about Sasha's injury, so nobody would be surprised and everyone would rather save her for Russian Cup Final or Worlds (if that happens). It would only make the jumping competition a little less interesting.

Yes, the value scales of GOE are different in ice dance than in other disciplines.
