Makar has some nice qualities. When he is "on" he performs well, and he was trying harder on the spins today. However, he doesn't seem to cover the ice very well which surprises me because most tall skaters i.e. Roman fly across the ice.. Long limbs make speed easier...I think Makar has pretty decent SS so I can only imagine it is related to his stamina. Why is his stamina so bad?

Better than I expected from Makar. Tired towards the end, I can’t undertake why no work is done on his stamina. I would think it could be easily addressed.
He looks good out there, nice long limbs but could present a bit more. He’s got two good programmes but has work to do.
3rd in the free, 2nd overall, more than likely 5th.
